SERVICES ON SITE

The Karori Community Centre hosts  a number of community focused service providers.

 

These are independent organisations that operate from our premises in support of the Karori Community

Karori Toy Library

Located upstairs at Karori Community Centre, the Toy Library is packed with quality toys, puzzles, games, books and CDs to borrow. They also have party items available for hire. This is a cheap and easy way to access a range of play equipment to suit the age and stages of your child.

Citizens Advice

Located downstairs at Karori Community Centre,

the Citizens Advice Bureau are here to help if you have questions or need help finding information about employment problems, benefits, budgeting and finance, tenants and landlords, consumer problems, disputes and local organisations and services.

This is a free, confidential and impartial service available to everyone.


Monday–Thursday, 10am–4pm

St Johns Op Shop

Bargains galore can be found at the St John’s Op Shop, which is located next door to Karori Community Centre.  All proceeds from the Op Shop go directly back into our community.

 

Volunteers are always welcome.

Weekly trips to Johnsonville Mall,

Queensgate (Lower Hutt) or

North City Plaza (Porirua).

Bookings Required.

Pick up and drop off locations are available at Karori Mall, Bowen Hospital, Mitre 10, Ngaio Village and Malvina Major Village. Please call in advance to arrange.

To donate goods: 

please drop off non-perishable food to the yellow wheelie bin (in the foyer)
